Educational Q&A

Extraordinary power—especially destructive power—should be approached through discipline (tapas) and moral qualification, and is legitimate only when sanctioned by higher dharma; it is a gift to be restrained, not a tool for ego or aggression.

Vaiśampāyana reports that Arjuna has obtained a fearsome divine weapon called Brahmaśiras, associated with Rudra and described as arising from amṛta; it signals Arjuna’s divinely authorized empowerment for the coming conflict.
