Prācī-diś Tīrtha-kathana
संवर्तस्य तु विप्रषेर्वापीमासाद्य दुर्लभाम्
saṁvartasya tu vipraṣer vāpīm āsādya durlabhām
Pulastya said: “Having reached the rare and hard-to-attain well belonging to the sage Saṁvarta…”
पुलस्त्य उवाच
The verse highlights the idea that certain sacred resources or spiritual attainments are “durlabha” (hard to obtain), implying that access comes through sustained effort, merit, and right conduct rather than chance.
Pulastya continues a narration describing someone arriving at a rare well associated with the sage Saṁvarta, setting the scene for events connected with that sacred spot.
