शौनक: सह पुत्रेण व्यासश्न॒ तपतां वर: । दुर्वासाश्च मुनिश्रेष्ठो जाबालिश्व महातपा:
śaunakaḥ saha putreṇa vyāsaś ca tapatāṁ varaḥ | durvāsāś ca muniśreṣṭho jābāliś ca mahātapāḥ ||
Narada said: “Śaunaka, together with his son, and Vyāsa—the foremost among ascetics—along with Durvāsā, the best of sages, and Jābāli, a great practitioner of austerities.”
