Educational Q&A

The verse teaches the sanctity of Kurukṣetra as a dharma-saturated region: living within its traditional boundaries is praised as equivalent to living in heaven, underscoring the ethical idea that place, when tied to righteous tradition and sacred memory, can support spiritual uplift.

A speaker describes Kurukṣetra by defining its boundaries between the Sarasvatī and Dṛṣadvatī rivers and proclaims the extraordinary merit of residing there, as part of a broader Vana Parva context that highlights tīrthas, holy regions, and their spiritual rewards.
