शालिहोगत्रस्य तीर्थे च शालिसूर्ये यथाविधि । स््नात्वा नरवरश्रेष्ठ गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्,नरश्रेष्ठ शालिहोत्रके शालिसूर्य नामक तीर्थमें विधिपूर्वक स्नान करके मनुष्य सहस्र गोदानका फल पाता है
śālihotrasya tīrthe ca śālisūrye yathāvidhi | snātvā naravaraśreṣṭha gosahasraphalaṁ labhet ||
Ghūlastya said: “O best of men, if one bathes according to the prescribed rite at the sacred ford of Śālihotra—at the tīrtha called Śālisūrya—one obtains the merit equal to the gift of a thousand cows.”
