अक्षहृदय-विद्या-प्रदानम्

Transmission of Akṣa-hṛdaya; Kali’s Exit and the Bibhītaka Refuge

स विनि:श्वस्य बहुशो रुदित्वा च पुनः पुनः । कुशल चैव मां पृष्टवा पश्चादिदमभाषत,“बाहुकने बार-बार लंबी साँसें खींचकर अनेक बार रोदन किया और मुझसे कुशल- समाचार पूछकर फिर वह इस प्रकार कहने लगा--

sa viniḥśvasya bahuśo ruditvā ca punaḥ punaḥ | kuśalaṃ caiva māṃ pṛṣṭvā paścād idam abhāṣata ||

He heaved deep sighs again and again, and wept repeatedly. After inquiring of me about my well-being, he then spoke these words—showing how grief can still coexist with courtesy and proper conduct.
