Shloka 45

ऋतुपर्णस्य विदर्भयात्रा-निश्चयः तथा बाहुकस्य हयपरिक्षा (Ṛtuparṇa’s resolve to go to Vidarbha and Bāhuka’s examination of horses)

यश्चैवं वचन श्रुत्वा ब्रूयात्‌ प्रतिवचो नर: । तदादाय वचस्तस्य ममावेद्यं द्विजोत्तमा:,“विप्रवरो! आपके इन वचनोंको सुनकर जो कोई मनुष्य जैसा भी उत्तर दे, उसकी वह बात याद रखकर आपलोग मुझे बतावें

yaś caivaṃ vacanaṃ śrutvā brūyāt prativaco naraḥ | tad ādāya vacas tasya mamāvedyaṃ dvijottamāḥ ||

Yudhiṣṭhira said: “O best of Brahmins, having heard these words, whatever reply any man may give—keep his statement in mind and report it to me.”
