“We are roaming over this earth for the sake of Damayantī. Today, in your son’s residence, I have found this young princess.”
युदेव उवाच
The verse highlights dharma through truthful speech and responsible action: the searchers state their purpose plainly and report finding a vulnerable young woman in a specific place, implying careful verification and protective concern rather than rash judgment.
A group searching for Damayantī explains that they have been traveling across the earth for her sake, and the speaker reports that a young princess has been found in the residence/palace of the listener’s son.
