Damayantī’s Lament, Serpent-Seizure, Rescue by the Hunter, and the Curse

बृहत्सेने व्रजामात्यानानाय्य नलशासनात्‌ | आचक्ष्व यद्धृतं द्रव्यमवशिष्टं च यद्‌ वसु,(दमयन्तीने उससे कहा)--“बृहत्सेने! तुम मन्त्रियोंक पास जाओ तथा राजा नलकी आज्ञासे उन्हें बुला लाओ। फिर उन्हें यह बताओ कि अमुक-अमुक द्रव्य हारा जा चुका है और अमुक धन अभी अवशिष्ट है!

Damayantī said to her: “Bṛhatsenā, go to the ministers and, by King Nala’s command, bring them here. Then tell them which goods have been lost and what wealth still remains.”
