दुःश्रुतं मे5स्तु सुभगे यन्मां वदसि भाविनि | गुरुदारै: समाना मे निश्चयेन वरानने,'सौभाग्यशालिनि! भाविनि! तुम जैसी बात कह रही हो, उसे सुनना भी मेरे लिये बड़े दुःखकी बात है। वरानने! निश्चय ही तुम मेरी दृष्टिमें गुरुपत्नियोंके समान पूजनीया हो

duḥśrutaṃ me 'stu subhage yan māṃ vadasi bhāvini | gurudāraiḥ samānā me niścayena varānane ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “O fortunate lady, what you are saying to me is grievous even to hear. O fair-faced one, in my eyes you are certainly to be revered as equal to the wives of my teachers.”
