Śiva Grants the Pāśupata Astra (Pāśupata-Śastra Upadeśa) | शिवेन पाशुपतास्त्रदानम्

ततः प्रतिययुर्देवा: प्रतिमान्य धनंजयम्‌ । यथागतेन विबुधा: सर्वे काममनोजवा:,इसके बाद इच्छानुसार मनके समान वेगवाले समस्त देवता अर्जुनके प्रति सम्मान प्रकट करके जैसे आये थे वैसे ही चले गये

Transliteration

tataḥ pratiyayur devāḥ pratimānya dhanañjayam | yathāgatena vibudhāḥ sarve kāmamanojavāḥ ||

Translation

Then the gods, having duly honored Dhanañjaya (Arjuna), departed again. All those celestial beings—moving with a speed as swift as thought—went away just as they had come, in accordance with their own will.
