तस्य मूर्थ्नि शितं खड्गमसक्तं पर्वतेष्वपि | मुमोच भुजवीर्येण विक्रम्प कुरुनन्दन:,उनकी वह तलवार पर्वतोंपर भी कुण्ठित नहीं होती थी। कुरुनन्दन अर्जुनने अपने भुजाओंकी पूरी शक्ति लगाकर किरातके मस्तकपर उस तीक्ष्ण धारवाली तलवारसे वार किया

tasya mūrdhni śitaṁ khaḍgam asaktaṁ parvateṣv api | mumoca bhujavīryeṇa vikramya kurunandanaḥ ||

The Kuru prince, Arjuna, gathering the full force of his arms, sprang forward and brought down his keen-edged sword upon the Kirāta’s head—a blade so sharp that it would not lose its edge even against mountains.
