भवतत्ष प्रशंसाभिनििन्दाभिरितरस्य च । कथायुक्ता: परिषद: पृथग् राजन् समागता:,“राजन्! साधारण लोग भिन्न-भिन्न सभाओंमें सम्मिलित होकर अथवा अलग-अलग समूह-के-समूह इकट्ठे होकर आपकी प्रशंसा और दुर्योधनकी निन्दासे ही सम्बन्ध रखनेवाली बातें करते हैं
bhavatāṃ ca praśaṃsābhiḥ nindābhiḥ itarasya ca | kathāyuktāḥ pariṣadaḥ pṛthak rājan samāgatāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “O King, separate assemblies have gathered in different places, and their talk is filled with praise of you and blame of the other (your rival).”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
