Transliteration

anyeṣāṁ karma saphalam asmākam api vā punaḥ | viprakarṣeṇa budhyeta kṛtakarmā yathāphalam ||

Translation

Yudhiṣṭhira said: “Whether another’s action has borne fruit—or ours as well—can be understood only after some interval, when the deed is completed and its outcome becomes evident. For a doer is finally known by the result that accrues from what has been done.”
