युधिषछ्िर उवाच यदा धर्मश्न भार्या च परस्परवशानुगौ । तदा धर्मार्थकामानां त्रयाणामपि संगम:,युधिछ्िर बोले--जब धर्म और भार्या-ये दोनों परस्पर अविरोधी होकर मनुष्यके वशमें हो जाते हैं, उस समय धर्म, अर्थ और काम--इन तीनों परस्पर विरोधियोंका भी एक साथ रहना सहज हो जाता है-
Translation
Yudhiṣṭhira said: “When dharma and one’s wife (bhāryā) are in harmony, not opposed to each other, and are held under one’s self-mastery, then the three—dharma, artha, and kāma—can also come together in a single life.”
