तब भीमसेन “बहुत अच्छा” कहकर उस स्थान-पर गये, जहाँ वे पुरुषसिंह तीनों भाई पृथ्वीपर पड़े थे। उन्हें उस अवस्थामें देखकर भीमसेनको बड़ा दुःख हुआ। इधर प्यास भी उन्हें बहुत कष्ट दे रही थी ।। अमन्यत महाबाहु: कर्म तद्‌ यक्षरक्षसाम्‌ स चिन्तयामास तदा योद्धव्यं ध्रुवमद्य वै

Translation

Bhīmasena said, “Very well,” and went to the place where the three brothers, lions among men, lay upon the earth. Seeing them in that state, Bhīma was stricken with great sorrow, and thirst too tormented him. The mighty-armed hero deemed it the work of a Yakṣa or a Rākṣasa, and then resolved: “Today, surely, there must be battle.”
