मृत्युमें पत्युराख्यातो नारदेन महात्मना । स चाद्य दिवस: प्राप्तस्ततो नैनं जहाम्यहम्,महात्मा नारदजीने मुझसे मेरे पतिकी मृत्युका हाल बताया था। वह मृत्युदिवस आज ही आया था; इसलिये मैं इन्हें अकेला नहीं छोड़ती थी
Transliteration
mṛtyuṁ me patyur ākhyāto nāradena mahātmanā | sa cādya divasaḥ prāptas tato nainaṁ jahāmy aham ||
Translation
Sāvitrī said: “The great sage Nārada had foretold to me the time of my husband’s death. That very day has now arrived; therefore I do not abandon him or leave him alone.”
