स सर्वनाश्रमान्‌ गत्वा शैब्यया सह भार्यया । पुत्रहेतो: परामार्ति जगाम भरतर्षभ,भरतश्रेष्ठ] वे अपनी पत्नी शैब्याके साथ सभी आश्रमोंमें जाकर पुत्रका पता लगाने लगे। उस समय उन्हें सत्यवानके लिये बड़ी वेदना हो रही थी

Transliteration

sa sarvān āśramān gatvā śaibyayā saha bhāryayā | putra-hetoḥ parām ārtiṁ jagāma bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

O bull among the Bharatas, he went to all the hermitages together with his wife Śaibyā, driven by the purpose of finding his son; and in that search he fell into profound anguish, tormented by grief for Satyavān.
