Yudhiṣṭhira said: “Whether on the seventh day or on the sixth, the person who performs worship with devotion—free from dejection and without ego—such a man is favored by Lakṣmī (prosperity).”

Prosperity (Lakṣmī) is drawn not merely by the date of worship but by inner qualities—devotion, steadiness without discouragement, and humility without ego.
Yudhiṣṭhira states a principle about worship: a person who honors the deity on the sixth or seventh day with sincere devotion and a humble, undepressed mind becomes worthy of Lakṣmī’s favor.
