ततोड<न््तरिक्षे वागासीत् सुभगा लोकसाक्षिणी । पुण्या संहर्षणी तेषां वानराणां महात्मनाम्,तदनन्तर आकाशमें सब लोगोंको साक्षी देती हुई एक सुन्दर वाणी उच्चरित हुई, जो परम पवित्र होनेके साथ ही उन महामना वानरोंको भी हर्ष प्रदान करनेवाली थी
tato ’ntarikṣe vāg āsīt subhagā lokasākṣiṇī | puṇyā saṁharṣaṇī teṣāṁ vānarāṇāṁ mahātmanām ||
Then, in the mid-air, a beautiful voice was heard—bearing witness before all the worlds. Holy and auspicious, it brought a surge of joy to those great-souled Vānara heroes, affirming their righteousness and strengthening their resolve.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
Righteous action is not merely private; it stands before the moral order of the world. The ‘voice in the sky’ functions as a public witness (loka-sākṣiṇī), suggesting that virtue (puṇya) naturally brings inner uplift and communal encouragement, strengthening those who act nobly.
Mārkaṇḍeya narrates that an unseen, heavenly voice arises in the sky. It is described as beautiful and holy, and it fills the great-souled Vānaras with joy—an omen-like affirmation that supports and heartens them at that moment in the story.
