Sūrya’s Counsel to Karṇa on Kīrti and the Kuṇḍala

द्वितीयसागरनिभं तद्‌ बल॑ बहुलध्वजम्‌ | वेलावनं समासाद्य निवासमकरोत्‌ तदा,असंख्य ध्वजा-पताकाओंसे सुशोभित वह विशाल वाहिनी दूसरे महासागरके समान जान पड़ती थी। सागरके तटवर्ती वनमें पहुँचकर उसने अपना पड़ाव डाला

dvitīya-sāgara-nibhaṃ tad balaṃ bahula-dhvajam | velā-vanaṃ samāsādya nivāsam akarot tadā ||

Mārkaṇḍeya said: That army, thick with many banners, looked like a second ocean. Reaching the forest along the seashore, it then made its camp there.
