रावणो विदितो महाूं लड़का चास्य महापुरी । दृष्टा पारे समुद्रस्य त्रिकूटगिरिकन्दरे

rāvaṇo vidito mahān laṅkā cāsya mahāpurī | dṛṣṭā pāre samudrasya trikūṭa-giri-kandare ||

Mārkaṇḍeya said: “Rāvaṇa is now well known to you as a mighty one, and Laṅkā—his great capital—has been seen, situated on the far shore of the ocean, within the caverns of Mount Trikūṭa.”
