तदा त्वं तत्र गच्छेथा यद्यनुग्राह्ता मयि । “यदि आपकी मुझपर कृपा हो तो मेरी प्रार्थनासे आप वहाँ ऐसे समयमें जाइयेगा, जब परम सुन्दरी यशस्विनी सुकुमारी राजकुमारी द्रौपदी समस्त ब्राह्मणों तथा पाँचों पतियोंको भोजन कराकर स्वयं भी भोजन करनेके पश्चात्‌ सुखपूर्वक बैठकर विश्राम कर रही हो”

tadā tvaṃ tatra gacchethā yady anugrāhātā mayi |

Vaiśampāyana said: “Then you should go there—if you are inclined to show me favor.” The request implies a deliberate timing: approach when Draupadī, Kṛṣṇā, the supremely beautiful, renowned, and gentle princess, has fed the Brāhmaṇas and her five husbands, and after eating herself is seated at ease in rest—so that the visit accords with propriety and the household’s duties are complete.
