रावण–मारीचसंवादः तथा मृगप्रलोभनपूर्वकं सीताहरणोपक्रमः

असंतोष: परीतापो दृष्ट्वा दीप्ततरा: श्रिय: । यद्‌ भवत्यवरे स्थाने स्थितानां तत्‌ सुदुष्करम्‌,स्वर्गमें भी जो लोग नीचेके स्थानोंमें स्थित हैं, उन्हें अपनेसे ऊपरके लोकोंकी समुज्ज्वल श्रीसम्पत्ति देखकर जो असंतोष और संताप होता है, उसका वर्णन करना अत्यन्त कठिन है

Even in heaven, those who dwell in the lower stations, on beholding the more radiant splendor and prosperity of the worlds above them, are seized by discontent and burning anguish. To describe that dissatisfaction and torment is exceedingly difficult.
