श्लाघमाना: कुरुश्रेष्ठ करिष्यन्ति जनक्षयम् । एक-दूसरेके विरुद्ध भाषण करते हुए वे सब योद्धा कहेंगे--“आज तू मेरे हाथोंसे जीवित नहीं बच सकता।' कुरुश्रेष्ठी! इस प्रकार सभी अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंकी वर्षा करते हुए पराक्रमपर डटे रहेंगे और परस्पर होड़ लगाकर जनसंहार करेंगे
Translation
O best of the Kurus, boasting against one another they will bring about the destruction of men. Speaking in defiance, those warriors will say, “Today you shall not escape alive from my hands!” And raining down every kind of weapon, they will stand fast in valor, vying with each other and working a great slaughter.
