Educational Q&A

Even wise and affectionate counsel cannot help a person who clings to an unrighteous resolve; stubbornness in adharma hardens the mind against correction and becomes a seed of downfall.

Vaiśampāyana tells Janamejaya that Duryodhana was repeatedly advised by friends, ministers, brothers, and relatives, yet he remained unmoved and would not abandon his determined course.
