वनप्रस्थानम् (Departure for the Forest) — Āraṇyaka-parva, Adhyāya 24

ततः स यानादवरुह्यु राजा सभ्रातृक: सजन: काननं तत्‌ । विवेश धर्मात्मवतां वरिष्ठ- स्त्रिविष्टपं शक्र इवामितौजा:,तदनन्तर धर्मात्माओंमें श्रेष्ठ एवं अमित तेजस्वी राजा युधिष्ठिरने अपने सेवकों और भाइयोंसहित रथसे उतरकर स्वर्ममें इन्द्रके समान उस वनमें प्रवेश किया

Translation

Then the king alighted from his chariot with his brothers and attendants and entered that forest. Yudhiṣṭhira—foremost among the righteous and of immeasurable splendor—went in like Śakra (Indra) entering heaven.
