Shloka 8
एवं दश दिश: सर्वास्तिर्यगूर्ध्य च भारत । नादयामासुरसुरास्ते चापि निहता मया,भारत! इस तरह वे असुर इधर-उधर ऊपर-नीचे दसों दिशाओंमें कोलाहल करते और मेरे हाथसे मारे जाते थे
evaṁ daśa diśaḥ sarvāstiryagūrdhya ca bhārata | nādayāmāsur asurās te cāpi nihatā mayā, bhārata ||
Vāyu said: “Thus, O Bhārata, in all the ten directions—sideways and above as well—the Asuras raised a great uproar; yet they too were struck down by me. Though tumult spread everywhere, it met its end before a force aligned with dharma.”
