Adhyāya 22: Śālva’s Weapon-Shower, Dāruka’s Wounding, and the Māyā-Report of Vasudeva’s Father
हतास्ते दानवा: सर्वे यै: स शब्द उदीरित: । शरैरादित्यसंकाशैज्वलितै: शब्दसाधनै:,जिन दानवोंने पहले कोलाहल किया था, वे सब सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी शब्दवेधी बाणोंद्वारा मारे गये
hatās te dānavāḥ sarve yaiḥ sa śabda udīritaḥ | śarair āditya-saṅkāśaiḥ jvalitaiḥ śabda-sādhanaiḥ ||
Vāyu said: “All those Dānavas who had raised that uproar were slain—struck down by blazing, sun-bright arrows, weapons that take their aim from sound itself. Thus the very noise they unleashed became the means by which they were found and destroyed.”
