वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dhārmic conduct in social and royal settings: even a supreme hero like Kṛṣṇa observes propriety—seeking consent, taking leave respectfully, and honoring the authority of the rightful leader (Yudhiṣṭhira).
After finishing his message or counsel, Kṛṣṇa (Madhusūdana) formally bids farewell to the Pāṇḍavas, obtains Yudhiṣṭhira’s assent, and departs for Dvārakā, marking a transition to the next narrative movement.
