तस्मात् त्वमपि राजेन्द्र पूजयैनं यथाविधि । एतत् ते शतशः प्रोक्ते कि भूय: श्रोतुमिच्छसि,अतः राजेन्द्र! तुम भी अतिथिका विधिपूर्वक सत्कार करते रहो। यह बात मैं तुमसे कई बार कह चुका हूँ, अब और क्या सुनना चाहते हो!
tasmāt tvam api rājendra pūjayainaṃ yathāvidhi | etat te śataśaḥ prokte kiṃ bhūyaḥ śrotum icchasi ||
Therefore, O best of kings, you too should honor this guest in the proper manner. I have told you this again and again; what more do you still wish to hear?
वैशम्पायन उवाच
A king should uphold dharma by honoring guests properly and consistently; respectful hospitality is presented as a repeated, settled instruction, not a negotiable detail.
Vaiśampāyana addresses the king, urging him to continue the prescribed honoring of a guest, and notes that this counsel has already been given many times, asking what further clarification is desired.
