Even a discerning man is carried away by the sense-organs that steal the mind and drag it toward objects of enjoyment. In that moment his awareness becomes deluded—like a charioteer pulled off the right road by unruly, untrained horses. Such is the condition of one who has not conquered the senses: knowledge may be present, yet conduct is overpowered by uncontrolled impulses.
