Educational Q&A

The verse highlights receptivity to righteous instruction: Yudhiṣṭhira values counsel that is both pleasing and ethically sound, and he commits himself to faithfully carrying it out—an ideal of humility, discipline, and adherence to dharma.

In a dialogue within the Vana Parva, Yudhiṣṭhira responds to a Brahmin superior (a sage/teacher figure). He expresses that the instruction has impressed him and vows to follow it completely, signaling his readiness to act according to guidance.
