क्रयविक्रयकाले च सर्व: सर्वस्य वज्चनम् । युगान्ते भरतश्रेष्ठ वित्तलोभात् करिष्यति,भरतश्रेष्ठ।! युगान्तकालमें धनके लोभसे क्रय-विक्रयके समय सभी सबको ठगेंगे
krayavikrayakāle ca sarvaḥ sarvasya vañcanam | yugānte bharataśreṣṭha vittalobhāt kariṣyati, bharataśreṣṭha ||
Mārkaṇḍeya said: “At the time of buying and selling, everyone will deceive everyone. O best of the Bharatas, at the end of the age, driven by greed for wealth, people will commit such fraud.”
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
Greed for wealth corrodes dharma: when society normalizes profit over truth, even everyday transactions become arenas of deception, signaling moral decline at the yuga’s end.
