जानामि त्वां परिश्रान्तं ततो विश्रामकाड्क्षिणम्‌ । मार्कण्डेय इहास्स्व त्वं यावदिच्छसि भार्गव

jānāmi tvāṃ pariśrāntaṃ tato viśrāmakāṅkṣiṇam | mārkaṇḍeya ihāssva tvaṃ yāvad icchasi bhārgava ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “I know you are weary and therefore longing for rest. O Mārkaṇḍeya, remain here as long as you wish, O Bhārgava.”
