यस्तु केवलसंरम्भात् प्रपातं न निरीक्षते । पापात्मा पापबुद्धिर्य: पापमेवानुवर्तते,जो केवल क्रोधके वशीभूत हो अपने पतनको नहीं देखता है, वह पापबुद्धि पापात्मा पुरुष पापका ही अनुसरण करता है
yastu kevalasaṁrambhāt prapātaṁ na nirīkṣate | pāpātmā pāpabuddhir yaḥ pāpam evānuvartate ||
He who, driven solely by blind impulse and rage, does not look ahead to his own downfall—such a man, sinful in mind and sinful in nature, ends up following only sin.
