पारिब्ह च तं शेषं परिदाय महात्मने । ततस्ते यज्ञपात्राणि रत्नान्न्याभरणानि च
pāribhya ca taṃ śeṣaṃ paridāya mahātmane | tataste yajñapātrāṇi ratnānnyābharaṇāni ca
Vaiśampāyana said: Having also handed over in full whatever remained to that noble-souled man, they then presented the sacrificial vessels, along with jewels and other ornaments.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights ethical completeness in giving: what remains (śeṣa) should be handed over fully (paridāya), especially in a sacred or righteous transfer, reflecting honesty, non-hoarding, and respect for dharmic obligations.
After giving the remaining portion in full to a noble recipient, the group proceeds to hand over valuable items—ritual vessels, jewels, and other ornaments—indicating a formal transfer of wealth and sacred objects.
