Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)

ततस्ते तिग्मतपसं कृशं धमनिसंततम्‌ | पारगं सर्वधर्माणामार्टिषिणमुपागमन्‌,फिर वे कठोर तपस्वी दुर्बलकाय तथा नस-नाड़ियोंसे ही व्याप्त राजर्षि आर्टिषेणके समीप गये, जो सम्पूर्ण धर्मोके पारंगत विद्वान थे

tatas te tigma-tapasaṁ kṛśaṁ dhamani-saṁtatam | pāragaṁ sarva-dharmāṇām ārtiṣiṇam upāgaman |

Then they approached Ārtiṣiṇa—the royal sage, austere with piercing penance, emaciated and sinewy with veins standing out—who was a master of all dharmas.
