ततो यज्ञा: प्रवर्तन्ते धर्माक्ष विविधा: क्रिया: । त्रेतायां भावसंकल्पा: क्रियादानफलोपगा:,त्रेतायुगमें ही यज्ञ, धर्म तथा नाना प्रकारके सत्कर्म आरम्भ होते हैं। लोगोंको अपनी भावना तथा संकल्पके अनुसार वेदोक्त कर्म तथा दान आदिके द्वारा अभीष्ट फलकी प्राप्ति होती है
Translation
Then, in the Tretā Yuga, yajñas, dharma, and many kinds of virtuous acts come into operation. According to their disposition and resolve, people attain the desired fruits through Veda-prescribed rites and through gifts and other acts of giving.
