lomaśa uvāca | yavakrītam athoktvaivaṃ devāḥ sāgnipurogamāḥ | saṃjīvayitvā tān sarvān punar jagmus triviṣṭapam ||
Lomaśa said: “O King, having spoken thus to Yavakrīta, the gods—led by Agni—restored all of them to life, and then departed again for Triviṣṭapa (heaven).”
लोगमश उवाच
The verse highlights that the gods may intervene to restore life and order, but such grace does not erase moral causality; human beings remain responsible for their conduct, and divine help functions to re-stabilize dharma rather than to endorse adharma.
After addressing Yavakrīta, the gods headed by Agni revive those who had died in the episode, and then return to Triviṣṭapa (heaven), marking the close of their direct involvement in this moment of crisis.
