अववियुरुवाच करोतु वै भवान्‌ सत्र बृहद्द्युम्नस्य धीमत: । ब्रह्मवध्यां चरिष्ये5हं त्वदर्थ नियतेन्द्रिय:

Avaviyur uvāca: karotu vai bhavān satra Bṛhaddyumnasya dhīmataḥ | brahmavadhyāṁ cariṣye ’haṁ tvad-arthaṁ niyatendriyaḥ ||

Avaviyu said: “Do you indeed perform here the sacrificial session (satra) for the wise Bṛhaddyumna. For your sake, with my senses restrained, I shall undertake the expiation for brahmahatyā.”
