Lomaśa said: “Indra (Śakra) kept casting, without pause, handful after handful of sand into the Bhāgīrathī (Gaṅgā). In this way, by pointing out Yavakrīta as an example, he began the work of building a causeway.” The episode underscores that even seemingly small, repeated acts—when guided by resolve and a worthy model—can initiate great undertakings.

Great results can begin from small, repeated efforts; when one follows a worthy example and acts with steady resolve, even a vast task (like building a causeway) becomes possible.
Lośa describes Indra continuously throwing handfuls of sand into the Gaṅgā (Bhāgīrathī) and thereby initiating the construction of a bridge, while presenting Yavakrīta as an illustrative example.
