अष्टावक्र-प्रवेशः तथा ब्रह्मोद्य-प्रारम्भः
Aṣṭāvakra’s Entry and the Opening of the Brahmodya
विचक्षणत्वं च भविष्यते नौ शिवश्न सौम्यश्न हि ब्रह्मघोष:,“वहाँ जानेसे हमलोगोंकी प्रवचनशक्ति एवं जानकारी बढ़ेगी और हमें सुमधुर स्वरमें वेद-मन्त्रोंका कल्याणकारी घोष सुननेका अवसर मिलेगा”
vicakṣaṇatvaṁ ca bhaviṣyate nau śivaś ca saumyaś ca hi brahmaghoṣaḥ |
“If we go there, our discernment and power of exposition will increase; and we shall have the opportunity to hear the auspicious, gentle chanting of Vedic mantras—beneficial in its very sound.”
लोगश उवाच
Association with sacred places and Vedic recitation refines one’s discernment and speech; ethical growth is linked to listening to and living within auspicious, disciplined sound and learning.
Lomaśa encourages the journey by describing its fruits: increased insight and eloquence for the travelers, and the chance to hear the благотворный (auspicious) Vedic chant in a gentle, pleasing tone.
