Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)

ये सम वारणशब्देन हयानां ह्ेषितेन च

ye sama vāraṇaśabdena hayānāṁ hreṣitena ca

Those who, amid the tumult, were stirred by the trumpeting of elephants and the neighing of horses—sounds that signal the gathering force and intent of armies—moved in response to the rising momentum toward conflict.
