Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how moral and spiritual authority attracts society at large: people naturally gather to see and hear one regarded as a guide for dharma, especially when major ethical decisions and political tensions are imminent.

As Kṛṣṇa (Hṛṣīkeśa) is present in the unfolding events of the Udyoga Parva, many citizens eagerly go out to see him—some using different vehicles and others walking—showing widespread public interest in his presence and mission.
