Vaiśampāyana said: Having thus arranged everything in a manner worthy of the gods—something exceedingly beyond the ordinary reach of men—King Duryodhana then reported the whole matter to Dhṛtarāṣṭra.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how extraordinary arrangements and displays of grandeur can be used to shape perception and decision-making; ethically, it invites reflection on whether power and spectacle serve dharma or merely political advantage.
After making all preparations in a splendid, almost god-like manner, Duryodhana goes to Dhṛtarāṣṭra and reports what has been arranged, moving the courtly sequence of counsel and strategy forward.
