Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure

प्रदक्षिणानुलोमाश्व मड़्गल्या मृगपक्षिण: । प्रयाणे वासुदेवस्य बभूवुरनुयायिन:,वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्णकी उस यात्राके समय मंगलसूचक मृग और पक्षी उनके दाहिने तथा अनुकूल दिशामें जाते हुए उनका अनुसरण करने लगे

pradakṣiṇānulomāśva maṅgalyā mṛgapakṣiṇaḥ | prayāṇe vāsudevasya babhūvur anuyāyinaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: As Vāsudeva set out on his journey, auspicious animals and birds followed after him, moving to his right and in a favorable direction—an omen that his undertaking was upheld by good fortune and aligned with dharma.
