Dvārakāyāṃ Sāhāyya-vibhāgaḥ (Alliance Allocation at Dvārakā) / उद्योगपर्व अध्याय ७
तदनन्तर धुृतराष्ट्रपुत्र राजा दुर्योधन कृतवर्मके पास गया। कृतवर्माने उसे एक अक्षौहिणी सेना दी ।।
sa tena sarvasainyena bhīmena kurunandanaḥ | vṛtaḥ pariyayau hṛṣṭaḥ suhṛdaḥ sampraharṣayan ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Surrounded by that entire formidable host, Duryodhana—the delight of the Kurus—departed in high spirits. As he went, he heightened the joy of his allies and friends, and returned with great satisfaction toward Hastināpura, strengthened by the military support he had secured.
