Vāyu said: “Give wealth in charity to worthy recipients, beget sons according to your own wish, and accomplish what is dear to those you love; for King Yudhiṣṭhira is now growing eager to overcome you.”
The verse urges timely fulfillment of dharmic and worldly responsibilities—especially giving charity to deserving recipients, ensuring lineage, and caring for loved ones—because impending conflict makes the future uncertain.
Vāyudeva warns the addressed party that Yudhiṣṭhira is becoming intent on victory; therefore, they should quickly complete acts of generosity, family duties, and obligations to loved ones before the situation turns into open confrontation.
