Sanjaya said: “O Bharata (Dhritarashtra), Dhrishtadyumna continually rouses these men. He urges them, ‘Fight! Do not be afraid of battle, O best of the Bharatas.’”
संजय उवाच
A kshatriya host must be steadied through courage and resolve: fear of battle is to be set aside when duty requires action, and a leader’s role includes kindling morale without wavering.
Sanjaya reports to Dhritarashtra that Dhrishtadyumna is repeatedly stirring the Pandava side, urging them to engage in battle and not to be afraid.
